Vsa Application

I was landed in KLIA after 13 hours flying, tired but excited..
Took a flight to my sister's house, so excited to see my niece and nephew running around me..really miss the little ones..especially my niece..seeing her growing up from the day she is borned, she is 8 years old now.

The first thing I have to do is to gather those missing documents which required by British High Comm, luckily I have a car from my brother in law to move a round, spending whole afternoon running about to gather all documents.

Finally everything is in order, forms, photos, supporting document, bank details etc..I am going to VST at Wisma MCA which serve as an agent for British High Comm tomorrow..I must start early, pray hard not raining in the morning.

Reach VST ontime and they did a detail check on all the documents, I must say they are professional, from the dresscode, attitude & their speaking, you just feel like you are talking to a British High Comm officer! Phew! All checked & nothing is missing, my documents shall be summitted to British High Comm on the same day and most important is, I am saving 300 pounds by submitting it before the deadline!

Within the next day, I have received a call from VST regarding the schedule interview which is another 2 weekw later, I was happy and counting days to be returned to UK..where my husband is waiting eagerly for me. We have started our daily communication by phone again..thought this is over after doing so for a year plus and here we are again, talking on the phone every night and he have to stay late to wake me up the next morning just to make sure I am not overslept for morning appointment.

Within the next 3 days, another call from VST, the interview is being defer to another 2 weeks time! Don't have much choices, just have to wait for the judgement day..actually it gave me more time to spend with family & friends, but better not letting my husband know about this!

The day has arrive, finally arrived at the British High Comm building after a massive jam, I thought I was on time but there are people arriving earlier than me..infact I am the second last person registering for the interview for that day..handing over my mobile & IC to the guard, there I was at the waiting room with the rest of the applicants..everybody was keeping quiet, small waiting place, 4 rolls of chair with a LCD TV on BBC-the news of the gunman, Chu Seuong-Hui killing 32 people in Virginia Polytechnic Institutes, the news was repeating for the whole morning. The interview never started until 9.30am, the people are being called to the interview room one by one, people are start talking to each other after a while, sharing experience & information..of course those interviewed earlier will be the one being questioned by the rest, trying to fish for information perhaps.

12.15pm! I am pretty sure the interview shouldn't be long as the office is closed at 12.30! My number were called and I was interviewed by a British, middle age man..common questions asked, basically is confirmation of info which was submitted earlier, as expected, the interview last about 15 minutes and hurray! The fiancee visa is finally approved & passport can be collected from VST the same afternoon.

Seeing those familiar faces at teh VST office..all smiling, of course, these are the ones that successfully obtain their visas, be it working, marriage, migrating or holiday-visa..

Now that I have my fiancee visa, still not done yet..that is only official approval for me to travel to UK for 2 months to have my marriage registered...
